Finally I've got around to posting my final image from my trip to Cleveleys and Mary's Shell on Tuesday.
Having noted the tide times I timed my arrival. It was a lovely warm afternoon as I sat on the steps looking out to sea with the sun and in my eyes. Great for relaxation but harsh light for Photography. So I knew I was going to shoot a long exposure in Monochrome.
Using a 10 Stop ND filter I managed to get around 35 seconds of exposure at f11. Just long enough to smooth out the waves yet retain an element of movement in the water.
I took a few photos but this one seems to capture the light and the mood I was feeling on the day.
